About Christian Research & Development (CRD)

Founded by Dr. Willie Richardson in 1975, Christian Research & Development has more than a 30-year history of evangelizing and developing the Christian family. Our mission is to improve your quality of life through training. We accomplish the mission by training people to apply biblical principles to their everyday life. Many of the specific problems of the African-American family, church and community have not been addressed in any great depth. Although you can find statistics and profiles exposing the problems of African-Americans, it has been difficult to find materials to which they can relate in a practical way in order to grow and solve their problems biblically. CRD was developed to meet this need by providing practical helps for the Black family, community and church.

Research:

Through the use of statistics and other profiles, combined with the professional training and practical experience of the CRD staff, we have exposed and addressed many real needs of Black people.

CRD has researched the biblical solutions to the problems, which will produce changed lives, restore families, strengthen the African-American community and increase church growth.

It is not enough to discover the problems confronting the African-American community and determine the biblical solutions. What is desperately needed, but has been lacking in our communities, is realistic information and practical materials to teach, motivate growth and provide encouragement, which produces change. God has called and equipped CRD to meet this challenge by producing clear, simplistic and practical materials, which are now being used nationally to effectively minister to African-American people. Through the seminars, conferences, workbooks, tracts, audiotapes and CD’s, videotapes and other literature developed by CRD, African Americans are improving their quality of life through training.

Present:

CRD makes God's solutions and practical applications, which really work, available to be presented to the individual through various mediums. These materials and opportunities also give Pastors resources they can use in counseling, teaching and preaching as they minister in their churches.
